Luciano Peirano 12/7/1928 - 3/19/2026
Our dear friend Luciano Peirano passed away on March 19,2026 at 97 years young. Born in Sestri Levante, Italy he worked many years as a merchant marine and later on as an officer and chief refrigeration engineer for the Carnival Cruise Line. An active volunteer, he was named Citizen of the Month, primarily for his stewardship at W Wayne Bunker Park. Luciano established the bocce courts at the park over 20 years ago and up until a month prior to his passing, played bocce every Tuesday with his friends. Luciano Peirano is survived by his wife Joanne and will be forever in our hearts and prayers.
